The Hackney Players has now disbanded

The last couple of years have been difficult ones for the group.

We were unable to meet at Morland Hall due to the Covid pandemic although we did manage to present a zoom production of 'A Christmas Carol'.
However, since resuming meetings earlier this year, attendance has been low and we no longer have enough people with the skill mix to allow us to put on a production.

Following a meeting on Monday 4th July 2022 it was regretfully decided to wind up the group. We are no longer meeting at Morland Hall and have disposed of the groups assets.
After 52 years The Hackney Players will officially be dissolved on 31st December 2022. Finally, may we say thank you to all who have supported us over the years.
